Sunflowers + Spa Treatments
We can really tell that spring is near in our garden, where flowers are popping up and the greens are plentiful. The kids were so excited when they turned the corner on their way to the mud kitchen on Tuesday. They came rushing back, yelling, "The garden! Come see the garden!" Most of the plants had doubled in size and there were flowers blooming.
Learners took advantage of the beautiful weather this week, playing (and learning) in the garden and dirt. Engaging their senses - nibbling on fresh kale, smelling the spicy flowers of the arugula plant, examining the colors of new blooming flowers, hands deep in murky water applying "spa treatments"...
It was a muddy, wet week, full of imagination and wonder!
We have a whole week of wonder planned for our Sapna Spring Break Stay-cation!
